From June 14 to 20 is National Public Service Week (NPSW).

It was created in 1992 following the passage of the National Public Service Week: Serving Canadians Better Act, to recognize the importance of federal public service employees and to honour their dedication to Canadians.

The current public health crisis has reminded us of the value of a strong public service. Canada’s outstanding public servants deserve our thanks for rising to the challenge. Even though we can’t gather in person this year, there is still plenty we can do to show our support and appreciation for Canadian public servants.

Here is what you can do to recognize the work of these people:

✅ Share stories and thank heroes
✅ Join the conversation on social media
✅ Create a poster
✅ Your membership matters
